Important Notes

CME Gateway 7.18.39 is released to support new CME Globex Secure Logon functionality.

Why Should I Upgrade?

CME Gateway 7.18.39 introduces support for CME Globex Secure Logon functionality. In lieu of a password, an Access ID and Secret Key will be used. Customers must work with the exchange to get secure key pairs for iLink sessions, and ensure that their TT CME Gateway configuration is updated accordingly.

For more information from the exchange, please refer to the CME Globex API Secure Logon / iLink and Drop Copy section of the CME Globex Notice.

Installation Notes

To leverage the new Secure Logon functionality, customers must configure an AccessKeyID and a SecretKey for each order session on their TT CME Gateway, as well as enable Secure Logon via the UseSecureLogon parameter.

Please note that until these new parameters are added and Secure Logon is enabled, the iLink session will continue to use the legacy Password parameter.

In order to configure the Access ID and Secret Key for Convenience iLink sessions, customers must add the following highlighted parameters to the hostinfo.cfg file as follows for each session:

[order_session_1]
Member=
Password=
iLinkPrimaryIP=
iLinkPrimaryPort=
UseSecureLogon=true
AccessKeyID=
SecretKey=

In order to configure the Access ID and Secret Key for MSGW sessions, customers must add the following parameters to the hostinfo.cfg file as follows for each session:

[order_session_1_MSGW]
Member=
UseSecureLogon=true
MSGWAccessKeyID=
MSGWSecretKey=

MSGWSenderCompID=
MSGWPassword=
MSGWPort=

Please note that if UseSecureLogon=false for any session, the legacy Password parameters will be used by that session if they are populated. This parameter must be configured on a session by session basis.

Once these parameters are in place, the legacy Password parameter will be ignored. Customers may remove the 'Password=' and 'MSGWPassword=' parameters from the config if desired once they are ready to move to the Secure Logon format. These parameters will be removed from the default hostinfo.cfg configuration in a subsequent release.
