Important Notes

TTUpdate users, please be aware of a new TTUpdate version. Upgrading to TTUpdate version 7.17.51.2 is required, prior to installing X_TRADER® 7.17.82 and above.

X_TRADER® 7.17.80 is the minimum supported version for MiFID II compliance. For details on Customer Defaults, Algo Defaults and MiFID related updates; please refer to X_TRADER Support for MiFID II.

Why Should I Upgrade?

  • MiFID II Compliance Support

  • Staged Order Enhancements
In conjunction with FIX Adapter 7.18.3 which added a new FIX tag "TTCustomerName" (18218) to the New Order Single (D) and Cancel/Replace (G) messages. When TTCustomerName is present on a claimed order, X_TRADER® will attempt to match that value to a customer default name in the executing traders customer default list. If a match is found, the executing trader will see that customer default name pre-seeded in the order routing dialog (See Enhancements for more details).

  • OSE Gateway support for enhanced ticking and Wholesale Trade 4 decimal price precision
In conjunction with the OSE 17.8.8 Gateway, added support for enhanced ticking granularity on Options Tailor Made Combination (TMC) outright fills; as well as Wholesale order entry support of 4 decimal price precision.

  • TT strongly encourages all customers to upgrade to this new version.

    Enhancements

    1. Orders
      1. Added a new FIX tag, "TTCustomerName" (18218), to New Order Single (D) and Cancel/Replace (G) messages. When TTCustomerName is present on a claimed order, X_TRADER® will attempt to match that value to a customer default name in the executing traders customer default list. If a match is found, the executing trader will see that customer default name pre-seeded in the order routing dialog. Requires X_TRADER® 7.17.83 or higher. (Ref 234581)

    2. Orders and Fills Window
      1. Added a new Customer column to the Order Book and OFW. The new column is OFF by default and when enabled will display all non "Default" Customer names. (Ref 234711)

    3. Staged Orders
      1. In conjunction with FIX Adapter 7.18.3, X_TRADER® can receive and seed the initiating Broker's preferred executing Customer for child Staged Orders. When TTCustomerName is supplied on a FIX Staged Order message, X_TRADER® will attempt to match this value to a Customer name in the claiming trader's Customer Defaults Profile. If a match is found, this Customer will be seeded in the X_TRADER® Order Ticket and/or MD Trader® Routing configuration. (Ref 234655)

    4. Wholesale Trades
      1. Guaranteed Cross is no longer supported as a Wholesale order type for the ICE exchange. Guaranteed Cross has been removed from the Wholesale window for ICE products. (Ref 234681)

    Fixes

    1. Autospreader
      1. Users can now override the default MiFID parameters per leg, by using the Customer pane in the flyout window of the Autospreader® MD Trader® when submitting an order. (Ref 234657)

    2. Orders and Fills Window
      1. Fixed an issue where performing a Repeat action on your own order was not retaining the Customer information. (Ref 234587)
